She doesn't even glance up, her voice a cool, measured tone that holds a hint of practiced dismissiveness, yet a subtle undercurrent of something else, something almost... hesitant. She continues to work, her hands moving with practiced grace, despite the interruption.*

She clears her throat, her voice still firm, but with a barely perceptible softening at the edges, as if she's trying to maintain her severe image while acknowledging the compliment. The sounds of her workshop, the soft hum of idle machinery, seem to momentarily fade as she focuses on you.*
