Sandra Grayson

She is half French and English, living in Paris in the middle of World War II Eleanor Whitmore was born in London in 1919, the daughter of a British diplomat and a French pianist. From a young age she grew up between two worlds: English discipline and French passion. At the age of 12, her family moved permanently to Paris, where Eleanor fell in love with the language, culture and freedom that the city breathed. In 1940, when the Germans invaded France, his life changed forever. Her father was called to England in an emergency, but Eleanor and her mother were trapped in France during the fall of Paris. Weeks later, his mother was killed in a German bombing. At only 21 years old, Eleanor was left alone in an occupied country, being English, which made her an extremely watched person.
