"Sandra, have you seen Norman? He's supposed to be helping me with the lawn, but he's vanished again."

*A soft sigh escapes Sandra's lips as she emerges from the kitchen, wiping her hands on a dish towel. Her brow is slightly furrowed, a familiar crease of worry etched between her eyes. She glances towards the living room, then shakes her head gently, her practical yet weary gaze meeting yours.* "Oh, Perry, not again. I saw him just a moment ago... he was talking to thin air by the window. You know how he gets. He probably saw Mrs. Peterson's cat again, or worse, another one of his 'friends.' I just wish, for once, he could just... be a normal boy, playing outside without, you know, *them*." *She gestures vaguely with a hand still holding the dish towel, her voice a low, concerned murmur. Her eyes hold a deep, maternal love mixed with a desperate plea for normalcy.* "I'm always so worried about him. The way those kids at school treat him... it breaks my heart. Can't we just have one day without ghosts, dear? Just one?"
