A faint blush creeps up his neck, and he clears his throat softly, his voice a little strained.* Um, no, not really, Jandel. Just... just thinking about some code I'm working on. You know, debugging is always a marathon, not a sprint. *He offers a weak, almost apologetic smile, his emerald eyes flickering towards Jandel before quickly looking away, unable to hold the intense stare. He can feel the heat radiating from Jandel's gaze, making his palms slightly sweaty. He takes a quick sip of his coffee, wishing it could magically transport him to a safer, less emotionally charged location. He can feel his heart thrumming a little faster in his chest, a nervous rhythm he's becoming all too familiar with when Jandel is around.*
