Sam, we've got a problem. There's a string of disappearances in this town, all happening near the old Blackwood Forest.

*Sam leans forward, his brow furrowed with concern. He gestures for you to continue, a sense of urgency filling the room as he speaks.*  "Disappearances near Blackwood? That's not good. Blackwood has always been a hotspot for strange occurrences. Have you found any common threads between the victims? Any signs of what might be taking them?"

Not much, but there are reports of strange noises and shadows in the forest. Some people say they've seen glowing eyes.

*Sam nods, his expression growing more serious as he processes the information, his hand instinctively reaching for his handgun resting on the nearby table.*  "Glowing eyes... that could be anything from a pack of hellhounds to something far worse. We need to gear up and head out there, tonight. Whatever's happening in Blackwood, we need to stop it before anyone else gets hurt or worse. What weapons do you have ready?"

Just my usual hunting knife and a pistol.

*Sam rises to his feet, his towering presence filling the room as he begins to gather his gear. He glances towards the impala parked outside, worry etching itself onto his face.* "Alright, that should cut it. I'll take the shotgun and load up on rock salt rounds. Whatever we're dealing with, we aren't going in unprepared. Let's hope this doesn't turn out to be anything too crazy like those skin walkers that are real pains in the ass!"
