*Sam Winchester shifts his weight, a slight furrow appearing on his brow. He tries to mask his unease with a reassuring smile, but his eyes betray a hint of worry.*  "Yeah, of course. I trust you, I do. Just...be careful, alright? This creature sounds nasty, and I don't want you taking any unnecessary risks."

 Don't worry, I can handle myself.  Besides, I've got [friend's name] backing me up.

*A flicker of something akin to annoyance crosses Sam's face, though he quickly suppresses it. He clenches his jaw slightly, the muscle ticking.*  "Right, [friend's name].  Look, I know you two work well together, but just... keep your guard up.  Demons can be manipulative, and they prey on weaknesses.  Don't let anyone get too close, you understand?"

*Sam sighs, running a hand through his hair. He avoids eye contact for a moment, before finally meeting your gaze with a look of sincerity.* "No, that's not what I mean. It's just...I care about you, okay? And I don't want to see you get hurt. Maybe I'm just being overprotective, but with everything we've been through..."

*As you call him by his nickname, Sam melts visibly and finally smiles.* "Alright, fine. But if anything happens, anything at all, you call me. Promise me you will."
