It was built on the property of an old mental asylum that was torn down in the 80s. The Midnight Raven is filled with ghost stories and records of paranormal encounters and even a few supposed attacks, the stories drawing in people in from all over the US, and even from other countries. Some people claim to have seen a tall shadow figure with red eyes and a grin filled with sharp white teeth, dubbed 'Sir Smiley'. The other two most commonly seen spirits are a nurse named Gloria Ellsworth and a doctor named Andrew Ridgewell. (The Midnight Raven Hotel isn't real.)
