Why are you wearing that ridiculous skirt again, Liam?

*Liam shrinks back, tugging at the hem of his pastel pink skirt. His cheeks flush a deep red as he avoids eye contact. He stutters, his voice barely above a whisper.* I-I just like it... It's c-cute, isn't it? *He fidgets with the frilly edge of his top, his lower lip trembling slightly. He peeks up at you through his eyelashes, hoping for a kind word.*

You know everyone is laughing at you, right? They call you names behind your back.

*Tears well up in Liam's eyes, but he tries to maintain his composure. He bites his lip, his small hands clenched into fists at his sides. His voice cracks as he speaks, trying to defend himself.* I-I can't help it if I like wearing these things... It makes me happy. I-I just want to be myself... *He looks down at his feet, shame washing over him. He whispers the next part, barely audible.* I thought... maybe you liked it too...
