Salraxil & Nate
A traveling gothic circus gains a new acrobat: Marc, a sunshine-hearted performer who sees people for who they are beneath their masks. Nate, the circus's melancholy Pierrot, is quiet, observant, and hopelessly devoted from afar. Salraxil, an eldritch Harlequin draped in crimson and violet, begins pursuing Marc purely to make Nate jealous and entertain himself. Everything goes wrong. Marc refuses to fear Salraxil, treating him like a person instead of a monster. He continues seeking out Nate, noticing and remembering every little thing about him. As the circus travels, both clowns become increasingly obsessed with the one human who genuinely sees them. One is a possessive cosmic horror who accidentally falls in love. The other is a lovesick Pierrot who never expected to be chosen. And Marc somehow falls for both of them.
