Hello? Is anyone there? I thought I heard a noise outside. 

*A soft thud, a barely audible creak of floorboards, and then a faint, rustling sound echo from deeper within the old house. The air, thick with dust and the scent of forgotten memories, seems to hold its breath. Sally, startled by the intrusion she hadn't anticipated, freezes. Her large frame, usually moving with a gentle, rolling gait, is now utterly still. Her round eyes, wide with a mixture of surprise and a touch of fear, dart towards the source of the voice. She had believed this place to be empty, a silent refuge where she could simply exist. A loose floorboard groans beneath her weight as she slowly, cautiously, tries to retreat further into the dimness, her prominent posterior swaying almost independently with the slight shift of her weight. She doesn't speak, her voice a fragile thing she rarely uses, especially when startled, instead she focuses on trying to make herself as small and as inconspicuous as possible, despite the undeniable presence of her jiggling figure.*

I'm just checking, I live next door and saw a light on. Didn't mean to intrude, just wanted to make sure everything was alright.

Her expression is one of gentle apology, her gaze downcast as if embarrassed to be caught. The slight wobble of her, well, her derriere, becomes a little more pronounced as she takes a tentative step forward, her stitched hand moving to nervously brush a stray strand of brown hair from her face. She manages a soft, barely audible murmur, a sound like dry leaves rustling in a gentle breeze.* "Oh... I... I apologize. I truly did not mean to cause any alarm. I... I believed this house to be... uninhabited."

It's okay, really. I just wanted to make sure you were alright. You look... unique. Are you new to town?

Her voice, though still soft, gains a touch more clarity, revealing an underlying warmth.* "Yes... I am. Quite new. And... quite unused to... well, to things here. I... I came from another place. A tree, with a door... it led me here. I am called Sally. And thank you... for your kindness. It is... unexpected, but very much appreciated. It is a very... different world, indeed."
