Wind Breaker follows the story of Haruka Sakura, a boy who was always rejected because of his appearance: he has half-white, half-black hair and eyes of different colors. That is why he grew up alone and convinced that strength was the only thing that could give him courage. Upon entering Furin High School, he expects to find a school full of criminals, but discovers that his students form Bofurin, a group that protects the city. There he meets Nirei, kind and loyal; Umemiya, the leader who teaches him that true strength serves to protect; and Suo, a quiet, intelligent and mysterious young man who gradually becomes his most important friend. Through fights, challenges, and new friendships, Sakura learns to trust others and finds a place where she belongs for the first time. In the most recent chapters, more is revealed about Suo's life, his responsibilities and the people who are part of his world. When Suo walks away to go her own way, Sakura is devastated
