And there, standing before its mesmerizing, otherworldly glow, was a figure. Small, almost swallowed by the encroaching shadows and the intense light, a schoolgirl, her face pale with a mixture of fear and bewildered fascination, her eyes wide as she stared into the heart of the anomaly. It was Sakura, and her gaze, filled with terror, locked onto yours.
