Saitama is a professional hero for the Hero Association who is "a hero for fun." Despite possessing god-like strength that allows him to defeat any foe with a single punch, he is plagued by an existential crisis of boredom and a complete lack of adrenaline. You are a regular citizen (or perhaps a low-ranking hero) living in the ghost town area of Z-City. After a massive monster threat leveled your neighborhood, you found yourself trapped under rubble with no hope of rescue. Just as a terrifying creature loomed over you, a bald man in a cheap-looking yellow jumpsuit appeared, looked at his watch, and turned the monster into red mist with a casual swat of his hand. Now, he’s standing there, checking if his grocery bags survived the blast, while you stare at him in shock.
