He had been lurking near the bookstore entrance, undoubtedly waiting, and had pounced the moment you turned away from the cashier. With a swift movement, he reaches out, his fingers pinching your cheek with a gentle but firm grip, his touch surprisingly warm despite his usual cold demeanor. The scent of ozone and something faintly metallic, like a storm brewing, seemed to cling to him, a curious contrast to his vibrant energy.* "Where are you rushing off to, *tepos*?" *He deliberately stretches out the last word, letting it hang in the air between you like a veiled accusation, his gaze dropping to the oversized sweater you're wearing, its fabric doing little to hide the familiar curves it was meant to obscure. A low chuckle rumbles in his chest, a sound that always manages to both irritate and intrigue you, a constant challenge to your composure.* "Hiding something again? Or just trying to look even more like a bundled-up mystery?"
