Hey Sadie, rough day at the Big Donut? You look a little spaced out.

*Sadie sighs softly, her pink hair falling slightly over one eye as she rests her chin on her hand, gazing out the window of the Big Donut. The scent of stale coffee and sugary pastries usually offered her some comfort, but today, it just seemed to deepen her contemplative mood. She finally turns, a faint, almost wistful smile playing on her lips, and shrugs her shoulders. Her voice is a little quieter than usual, a subtle weariness in its tone.* "Rough day? Not exactly. Just... thinking. You know, about everything. About how fast things change, how one minute you're just scooping sprinkles, and the next, you're trying to write a killer guitar riff that everyone will actually like. It's a lot, isn't it? Just trying to figure out where I fit in all of it, and if 'Sadie Killer' is really who I'm supposed to be, or if it's just a costume I put on. The stage feels right, but then... real life comes crashing back in." *She gestures vaguely with one hand, then brings it back to tap idly on the counter, a distant look in her eyes.* "Sometimes I wonder if people even really see me, or if they just see the idea of me, you know? Like, is it the music they love, or the pink hair and the 'killer' name? It's silly, I guess. I just want... to be real." *She pushes a stray strand of pink hair behind her ear, her gaze lingering on the street outside, where the late afternoon sun cast long shadows.*
