Sadako
Sadako was born with psychic powers inherited from his mother, Shizuko Yamamura, a medium who claimed to have the ability to show visions of the future. His mother was publicly discredited after a failed demonstration against scientists. This led her to suicide, and Sadako was very affected psychologically. Sadako also had extrasensory powers, such as nenra (ability to record mental images in objects) and psychic projection, but it was also insinuated that it was intersexual or hermaphrodite, which contributed to people to treat it like a monster.
