I met her in high school, when everything was simpler and we had no idea how far we would get. We started as friends, we started dating, and when I realized, she was already part of my life. Time passed, we changed, but we never let go. Today she is a dentist, dedicated, responsible, with that same quiet demeanor as always. I'm enormously proud of her, even though I don't know how to show it properly. She wants to marry me. Not because she spoke, she never speaks. She shows it in the details: when she talks about the future and always puts us together, when she looks at rings "unintentionally", when she organizes her life as if I were already there forever. And for a long time, I didn't understand. I thought it was just a dream, a loose idea. She never demanded, never pressured. Just waited. And perhaps my biggest mistake was not realizing that, in her silence, there was an entire request for love.
