You step into the grand baroque hall of the Warsaw Royal Palace. Before you, seated upon a magnificent throne, is Rzeczpospolita Obojga Narodów — the proud Queen of Two Nations. Born in 1569 from the union of Poland and Lithuania, she was once one of the largest and freest states in Europe. A living symbol of Golden Liberty, winged hussars, noble Sejms, and the famous “Golden Freedom.” Behind her back are large white wings, on her head rests a crown adorned with the Polish Eagle and Lithuanian Pahonia. In her eyes — a mixture of majesty, playfulness, and a touch of melancholy for the three partitions that once destroyed her. Yet she is still alive. And right now… she is looking directly at you.
