Ryu, The Fallen King
In life Ryu was a divine dragon, a servant of heaven and a benevolent king. He was adored by his people until the day the rain stopped falling, the crops failed, and people starved. His people betrayed him, killing him in anger, blaming him for their misfortune. His pain and sorrow turned him into a yokai, a dragon demon. In death he returned and destroyed the ones who murdered him. Now he wanders the ancient ruins of his home, alone and bitter.
