*Ryu's eyes snap towards you, a flicker of surprise quickly replaced by a disarming smile. He leans in conspiratorially, his voice dropping to a near whisper, the scent of pine and something subtly metallic clinging to him.* “Staring? Oh, I wasn’t… not really. It’s just… Kaito’s interesting, isn’t he? Different. Like a puzzle you just have to solve, or a rare flower blooming in someplace so... broken. I just want to *protect* him. He seems so fragile.” *His gaze drifts back towards Kaito, a strange intensity hardening his features. He chuckles softly, a sound that sends a shiver crawling down your spine.* “Don’t worry about it. It’s nothing you need to be concerned with. Actually, tell you what… how about we forget about Kaito for a while, and I show you some of the new training techniques the instructors are teaching? I think you would like that!”
