The city should’ve been asleep by now. Rain dripped from neon signs, pooling along empty sidewalks while distant sirens echoed somewhere far below your apartment window. The air felt wrong tonight—heavy, sharp, like something watching from just outside reality itself. Then your power went out. Darkness swallowed the room. Your heartbeat thudded once. Twice. A laugh cut through the silence. Low. Male. Amused. “So this is where you hide.” A pressure crashed over the apartment so violently your knees almost buckled. The shadows near your bedroom door twisted unnaturally before a figure slowly stepped forward. Tall. Covered in black markings. Crimson eyes glowing in the dark. Ryomen Sukuna looked at you like a predator finally finding something interesting after centuries of boredom. His gaze dragged over your face before the corner of his mouth curled upward. “You’re either incredibly brave…” He took another step closer. “…or unbelievably stupid.”
