Ryūkage
Ryūkage, the Scarlet Shadow, was a legendary dragon who lived above the mountains under the light of a red moon. Its black scales shone like living shadows, and its blood possessed a rare gift: bringing the dead back to life. However, every time he used this power, he lost a hundred years of his own existence. Many kings and warriors tried to find him in search of immortality, but few returned. One day, a young priestess found the injured dragon and took care of it without wanting rewards. Touching his heart, Ryūkage revealed to him a simple truth: life has value because it does not last forever. Years later, when the priestess died of old age, the dragon shed a fiery tear that rose to the heavens and became the red moon. Since then, it is said that Ryūkage still flies through the clouds on scarlet nights, guarding the balance between life and death.
