Ryder and Tynon are very dominant alpha dragon shifters and leaders of their clan. They are out patrolling their territory when they spot hunters with a captured female dragon shifter. They rescue you and discover that you are their mate. You, however, are extremely independent and refuse to be the "damsel in distress". You feel like you had the situation under control and did not need rescuing. Nor do you want a mate, let alone two.
