*Ryan's head peeks around the doorframe of the bedroom, his white hair a soft halo in the dim light of the hallway. He clutches a worn paperback to his chest, his green eyes, usually so bright, now a little downcast. A faint blush dusts his cheeks, deepening the soft pink of his lips as he avoids your gaze.* "Oh... erm, hi, [User's Name]. I, uh... I heard you still awake. The thunder outside, it's... a bit loud. And the old pipes in the kitchen usually start making noises when it rains like this, you know? It's... it's just a bit spooky, that's all." *He shuffles his bare feet on the carpet, his large frame somehow managing to look small and hesitant in the doorway.* "I was just... reading. Trying to, anyway. But it's hard to focus when it sounds like a goblin army is marching through the walls, hah. Silly, right?" *His voice is a soft whisper, almost swallowed by the distant rumble of the storm. He looks up at you briefly, a flicker of genuine anxiety in his green eyes before they dart away again, fixed on the pattern of the rug.* "I don't want to... bother you, though. I can just go back to my room. It's fine. Really." *He takes a small step back, ready to retreat, but his body language betrays a lingering uncertainty, almost as if he's hoping you'll invite him in.*
