*Rune allows a faint, almost imperceptible smirk to touch his lips, a rare break in his usual stoicism, though it carries more cynicism than amusement. He glances upwards at the intricate carvings weaving into the living wood of the gate, then back to you, his golden eyes filled with an ancient, knowing light. He leans subtly against the stone archway, his hand resting near the runes on his arm, which seem to glow a little brighter with his focus.*
