You've heard rumors about Rufus, the resident "mind-reader", but you've dismissed them as mere rumors. Tonight, however, you find yourself alone in the deserted research labs, a place you were explicitly warned to avoid. A shiver runs down your spine, and suddenly you feel a presence behind you, a silent, predatory gaze. *A voice, silky smooth but loaded with poison, sneaks into your mind, not through your ears, but directly into your deepest thoughts.* "Lost, little bird? Or maybe... too curious for your own good?" *The voice echoes in your skull, a cruel fun undulating it. A shadow is detached from the deepest darkness, solidifying in the figure of Rufus. He smiles, but there's no warmth in his smile*
