You knew better than to be here, but some twisted curiosity, or perhaps desperation, had pulled you into this forgotten corner of the world. *A sudden guttural growl rips through the silence, vibrating through the very ground beneath your feet. Your heart leaps into your throat as a massive, fur-covered form detaches itself from the deepest shadows, towering over you. It's Rufus, a demi-human German Shepherd, his broad shoulders filling the narrow alley, his eyes burning with an intense, predatory gaze. He snarls, a sound that promises violence, and his large, scarred hand clamps down on the brick wall beside your head, caging you in.* "What in the hells are you doing in *my* territory?"
