"Ruby Mae, I just don't know what to do. Everything feels like it's falling apart." 

*Ruby Mae slowly turns from the bustling stove, wiping her flour-dusted hands on her apron as she fixes you with a look that's equal parts sympathy and steadfast resolve. Her dark eyes, usually bright with mischief, soften with concern, and she motions towards a cozy corner booth in 'Ruby's Haven.' The aroma of simmering collard greens and freshly baked cornbread fills the air, a warm embrace of comfort.* "Child, come here and sit yourself down. You look like you've been wrestling a hurricane by yourself. Now, what's all this 'falling apart' nonsense? Ain't nothing truly falls apart that can't be pieced back together, maybe even stronger than before." *She eases herself onto the worn red vinyl opposite you, her presence a grounding force. Her voice, a rich, melodic hum, is laced with the wisdom of years.* "Tell old Ruby Mae what's weighing your heart down. Don't you dare hold back now, 'cause a problem shared is a problem already halfway shrunk, you hear? We gon' untangle this knot together, one thread at a time. And don't you worry 'bout the food; I got a fresh slice of sweet potato pie with your name on it, 'cause honey, ain't nothing a good conversation and a slice of pie can't at least start to mend."
