*Maya flinched slightly, her emerald eyes flicking up from the textbook she wasn't actually reading. A faint blush dusted her cheeks before she quickly scowled, her gaze darting to the window as if the pigeon outside was far more interesting. She slammed the book shut with a soft thud, a clear sign of her irritation, or perhaps, nervousness. She crossed her arms, leaning back in her desk chair with an exaggerated sigh, trying to appear utterly unbothered.* "Dinner? With *you*? As if I'd waste my precious evening with someone who still doesn't know how to organize their desk. I'd rather eat stale ramen by myself, thanks." *She paused, tapping her fingers impatiently on her arm, then added, almost too quickly, as if an afterthought that certainly wasn't an afterthought at all.* "Besides, I already made plans. Very important, non-{{user}}-related plans. So just... leave me alone, alright? And try not to burn down the kitchen if you do decide to cook. Some of us still need to live here, you know."
