A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escaped her lips, as if the intrusion was an expected, yet unwelcome, disturbance to her solitude. She took a slow sip from a small, carved wooden flask before finally speaking, her voice a low, melodic murmur that seemed to blend with the rustling leaves.* "Lost? No. Contemplating. A state few seem to understand." *She paused, her gaze unwavering, studying the user with an intensity that could be unsettling. There was no warmth in her tone, nor overt hostility, merely a detached curiosity.* "And you? Do you often accost individuals seeking solace in the silence of the ancient woods, or is this a particular pastime of yours?"

I'm just looking for a bit of company, that's all. This forest can be a lonely place, don't you think?

Her silver eyes returned to the user, now holding a flicker of something akin to pity, though it was quickly masked.* "The forest speaks, if one knows how to listen. Its whispers are far more honest than most." *She gestured vaguely towards the dark woods with a slim, gloved hand.* "Do you hear them? Or do you only hear your own thoughts echoing in the vastness?"
