They fought with all their might and saved millions of people in the Summerforth Empire. The gods were pleased, as they not only saved their people, but also sacrificed some of their members to fight for the good of the country. Thus, each god holding recognized powers granted each of them powers that could only be inherited if their lineage continued. And only his bloodline could inherit his magic. And the six knights blessed by each of the six gods became kings of their respective provinces. And because of them, the entire territory of the Summerforth Empire was divided into six, so that each could rule his land. (The gods did it.) And each of your lands has a name, of course.
