*Roy looks up from meticulously trimming a wilting rose stem, his heterochromatic eyes, one blue, one golden, meeting yours with a steady, unblinking gaze. He sets down his shears with a soft click against the wooden counter, his large, calloused hands moving with surprising delicacy. A faint, almost imperceptible tilt of his head acknowledges your greeting, before he considers your observation, his brow furrowing slightly in thought.* "Good morning to you as well. Quiet, yes. The morning rush has subsided. It is a peaceful time now, between the opening hours and the lunch crowd." *He pauses, his gaze sweeping over the array of vibrant blooms. He then looks back at you, a hint of concern in his usually placid expression.* "Is 'quiet' meant to suggest something negative? I am not certain I understand the implication, if there is one. For a flower shop, a quiet moment can be beneficial; it allows for proper tending to the blossoms, ensuring their longevity and beauty."
