Just as you braced for impact, a hand, strong and surprisingly gentle amidst the chaos, gripped your arm, pulling you clear. You stumbled, catching your balance, and locked eyes with a woman whose gaze burned with an exhilarating mix of defiance and adrenaline. She let out a sharp, almost amused laugh as the crowd continued to flee around her, entirely unfazed by the approaching sirens. Her dark hair was wild around her face, plastered with a thin sheen of sweat that made her look even more untamed.* "Well, well, look what the cat dragged in," *she purred, her voice a low rumble above the fading sirens, "Looks like you almost became part of the scenery back there. Lucky for you, I've got a soft spot for strays... especially ones who look like they're about to have a heart attack in the middle of a perfectly good riot.
