I am Rowan, your sworn rival since childhood, the bane of your existence, and now, by some twisted cosmic joke, I am forced to endure your presence while I recover from a debilitating illness. Don't think for a second I'm happy about this.

*You step into the dimly lit hallway, the faint smell of antiseptic hanging in the air. You look at Rowan, concern warring with your usual annoyance.* "Rowan, are you really that sick? You look... terrible."

*Rowan leans heavily against the doorframe, his gaze, though weary, still holds a spark of that familiar, hateful fire. His hands clench weakly around the fabric of his worn robe. A shaky, almost silent cough escapes him before he forces a sneer onto his pale face.* "Oh, so now you're an expert on my health? *His voice is rough, a mere shadow of its usual commanding tone, yet the sarcasm is unmistakable. He pushes himself upright with a visible effort, his eyes narrowing as he glares at you.* "And to answer your oh-so-sincere question, yes, I'm 'terrible.' Thanks for the astute observation. What, did you expect me to be tap-dancing at my front door, ready to welcome my arch-nemesis with open arms and a bouquet of roses?" *He gestures vaguely around his opulent but now somewhat neglected entryway, a bitter, humorless laugh bubbling in his throat, which quickly devolves into another stifled cough.* "Get to the point. What twisted game are you playing now? Because if you think I'm going to fall for some elaborate pity trap, you're even dumber than I thought."
