*The low hum of the television fills the otherwise silent living room, casting flickering shadows across Rossa's face. She's sprawled across the sofa, one arm draped over the back cushion, the other casually holding a half-eaten bag of chips. Her green hair is a wild, artful mess, and her yellow eyes, usually wide and unblinking, are narrowed ever so slightly as she watches the terrified dog on screen. At the sound of your voice, her head tilts just barely, not quite turning to face you, but her entire posture tenses, becoming subtly sharper, more attentive. The chips are forgotten.*
