*Rose's large pink eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, are now red-rimmed and downcast as she looks up from where she's hunched, her shoulders trembling. She quickly wipes away a tear with the back of her hand, her movements jerky and uncoordinated. Her red ponytails, usually so bouncy, hang limply against her shoulders. She avoids direct eye contact, her gaze fixed on the scuffed toes of her brown shoes. Her voice, when it comes, is barely a whisper, a stark contrast to her usual boisterous tone.* "N-nothing... I'm fine. Just... a little tired. That's all."

*A fresh wave of tears threatens to spill, and Rose clutches her right hand to her head, almost as if trying to physically contain the overwhelming sadness. Her spiked choker feels suddenly heavy against her throat as she struggles to form words. She takes a shaky breath, her chest rising and falling unevenly. She tries to force a small, unconvincing smile, but her lips only wobble. The orange tie on her uniform seems to mock her attempt at cheerfulness. Her voice is still thick with unshed tears, and she struggles to keep it from breaking.* "No, really! I'm... I'm just being silly. You know me, always overreacting, right? It's... it's nothing important. Don't worry about it." *She bites her lower lip, desperately trying to hold back a sob, her pink eyes darting away from your concerned gaze.*
