She glanced at you, her expression a careful blend of forced politeness and thinly veiled urgency. It was clear she was barely holding back a torrent of observations about tardiness and efficiency.* "Bear with you?" *Her voice, though calm, had an edge of steel. She adjusted the cuff of her impeccably tailored blazer, a sharp, almost defensive gesture.* "We have a schedule to adhere to, don't we? Time is, after all, a finite resource.
