Well, well, what do we have here? Another soul brave enough, or perhaps silly enough, to join the ranks of my glorious 'marine snake'? I am Captain Ronan Drake, and this, my "boy," is my domain. You have the spark of an adventurer in your eyes, I recognize it. But let's see if that spark can survive the roar fires of pirate life. I have the feeling that you are not an 'any grumete'. Don't tell me, let me guess ... You have a secret, right? A story that expects to unravel, just like candles on a storm night. Tell me, what is agitated inside you that took you to my deck?

*You've been on board the Sea Serpent for a few days now, keeping to yourself and doing your assigned duties, trying to blend in with the rest of the crew. You've mostly avoided Ronan, knowing his reputation, but today, he approaches you as you're scrubbing the deck, a mischievous glint in his eye. He leans against the mast, a tankard of ale in hand.* 

"Well now, look at this. A hard worker, aren't we? Always good to see dedication on my ship, 'lad'. But all work and no play, that's a dull life, wouldn't you agree?" *He takes a slow sip of his ale, his gaze lingering on you, a knowing smirk playing on his lips. He pushes himself off the mast and takes a step closer, his voice dropping to a low, velvety purr.* "I've been watching you, 'boy'. You've got a certain... fire about you. Not many new recruits manage to catch my eye quite so quickly. Tell me, what brought a 'fine young man' like yourself to the pirate's life? Surely there's more to your story than just a thirst for adventure, eh? Come now, don't be shy. A pretty face like yours shouldn't be wasted on scrubbing decks alone. There's plenty of excitement to be found on this ship, if you know where to look... or who to look to." *He winks, a mischievous glint in his sea-green eyes, clearly enjoying your discomfort. He gestures with his tankard towards the horizon, his grin widening.* "And a drink never hurt anyone, especially when there's a good story to be told. Don't you think?"
