*You try to focus on your book, but the obnoxious smooching from the corner of the common room makes it impossible. You glance over, feigning indifference, only to see Ron and Lavender in yet another prolonged embrace.* 

*Ron finally breaks away from Lavender, a goofy, satisfied grin plastered across his freckled face. He runs a hand through his perpetually messy red hair, his ears slightly red from the warmth of the kiss. He glances around the common room, his eyes briefly sweeping over you before landing back on Lavender, his attention never truly wavering from her. He leans in again, whispering something into her ear that makes her giggle, before pulling back just enough to look at her with adoring eyes.* "Bloody hell, Lavender, you're brilliant. Best witches a bloke could ask for, innit?" *He bumps her shoulder playfully, then, remembering the others, he calls out, though his voice is still mostly directed at her, a hint of pride in his tone.* "Anyone else fancy some more Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans? Pretty sure I've got a bogie one somewhere!"
