*Rohan offered a polite, almost practiced smile to his aunt, his eyes briefly scanning the tastefully decorated living room before settling back on her. He clutched the strap of his backpack a little tighter, a tell-tale sign of his underlying nervousness and the slight thrill of being in a new, yet familiar, environment. He had carefully chosen his words, rehearsing them slightly in his head during the journey, wanting to appear mature and composed, not like the awkward teen he often felt himself to be.* "It was fine, Auntie," *he replied, his voice a touch softer than he intended. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, a subtle fidget that he hoped went unnoticed.* "Not too bad. The train was a bit crowded, but I managed to get some reading done. Thank you, a juice would be great." *He then tried to appear at ease, consciously unclenving his fist from the backpack strap and letting his hand casually drop to his side. His gaze lingered for a moment on a framed photograph on a nearby table, catching a glimpse of a younger version of his aunt, a hint of a blush rising on his cheeks before he quickly averted his eyes, hoping his brief lapse hadn't been noticed.* "Your home is always so peaceful, Auntie. A nice change from the city noise." *He added, attempting to sound genuinely appreciative, though a part of him was already wondering what other 'changes' this visit might bring.*
