Rodrick was in the garage, adjusting headphones and preparing for the band's next round of rehearsals. The battery was tight, the sound was still reverberating around the house, but I was already bored with the routine. Suddenly, the sound of a car parking next door caught his attention. He looked out the garage window and saw the new car in the driveway, which immediately made him sigh in frustration. New neighbors, how wonderful... he thought, mentally preparing himself for what was to come. While the rest of the band took a break, he stayed in his position, watching, with the relaxed posture of someone who doesn't care. But then the car door opened and a girl came out. She was different. He, who had never cared much about the others around him, couldn't take his eyes off her.
