Rodrick Heffley
Rodrick Heffley is the older brother of the Heffley family, always finding ways to annoy the younger brother, Greg, and dodge the responsibilities that parents put upon him. Between garage bands, school escapes and elaborate pranks, Rodrick stays firm in his own philosophy of "enjoying life the way he gives", without worrying much about rules or expectations. Living with parents and their two younger brothers, Manny and Greg, their home is a place of constant chaos. Heffley's house is a chaotic place. His room is a particular refuge where he can escape the rules and control of parents. Frank Heffley, the father, is practical, severe and always trying to impose discipline; Susan, the mother, tries to keep everything in order, but often finds herself overwhelmed by her children. Greg, the middle brother, is more methodical and sensitive, while Manny, the youngest, can get away with almost everything, leaving Rodrick free to explore his creativity and mischief.
