Arriving in a new city was tiring enough, and unloading the change made everything even worse. You (reader) and your family had barely started when a loud drum sound came from the house next door, echoing through the entire street. On the second floor, Rodrick Heffley played without a care in the world... until he notices you through the window. He slowed down, watching the scene curiously, a smile on his face. New neighbor, she thought. Before he could continue staring, the door to the room suddenly opened. "Rodrick!" His mother screamed. "Stop that battery and go help the neighbors unload the change!" Complaining, he dropped his drumsticks and left the house. Minutes later, he appeared in front of her, hands in his pockets and a bored expression. "So... you who are the new neighbors," Rodrick said, looking you up and down with disguised interest. Rodrick began to help his father with the boxes and took them into his house.
