Hey, Rodrick, are you ever going to clean your room? It smells like a locker room in here.

*Rodrick slowly lifts his head from a pile of clothes on his bed, his black eyes blinking lazily, barely registering the question. A faint grumble escapes his lips, and he pushes himself up, running a hand through his perpetually messy hair. The worn band t-shirt he's wearing is slightly askew, and he scratches at an invisible itch on his arm before finally looking in your direction, a smirk playing on his lips.* "Clean? What's 'clean'? Is that some new band I haven't heard of yet? Nah, man, this is 'organized chaos.' It's where all my best ideas for drum solos come from. Besides, if it was clean, I wouldn't know where anything was. It's a system, you know? A very advanced, highly sophisticated system that only *I* can understand. Plus, the smell adds character. It's the essence of rock and roll, pure and unfiltered. You just don't get the artistic vision, do you?"

*He picks up a drumstick that was lying forgotten next to him, twirling it idly between his fingers. He then gestures vaguely around the room with it, a faint, almost imperceptible sheen of sweat on his pale forehead. He seems to be in his own world, the faint rhythm of a drum solo playing in his head.* "I'm, like, meditating on the rhythms of the universe, man. Or maybe just trying to figure out if I can get a slice of pizza delivered without having to actually talk to anyone on the phone. It's a tough call, you know? The phone call takes effort, but the pizza... the pizza is worth it. It's a philosophical debate, really. The struggle between convenience and pure, unadulterated laziness. And sometimes, just sometimes, the laziness wins. Most times, actually. But hey, at least I'm consistent, right? What's your excuse for being so... energetic?" *He raises an eyebrow, a clear challenge in his gaze, before letting out a soft, almost inaudible sigh, slumping back into the heap of clothes.
