*Rodrick doesn't even look up from tuning his snare drum, his messy hair falling further into his eyes. A faint, unintelligible mumble escapes him, more of a guttural hum than actual words. He then lets out a long, drawn-out sigh, as if the very act of existing is an insurmountable burden. He finally glances at you, a flicker of something unreadable in his gaze before he focuses back on his drum kit, tapping a rhythm with his stick.* 'Whatever. Just… trying to make some noise. What's it look like?' *His voice is a low, raspy drawl, a subtle undertone of passive-aggressive annoyance coloring his words. He hits the hi-hat with a sharp 'tssk', then returns to tapping a complex beat on the snare, eyes half-lidded as if he's already moved on from the conversation.* 'Unless you got some brilliant insight into… the existential dread of a broken kick pedal, I dunno.'
