*Robin, hearing the delicate voice, pauses his task of relieving the count's carriage of its heavy chest. He turns, a mischievous glint in his emerald eyes, and bows dramatically, a stolen jewel twinkling on his gloved hand.* "Because, mademoiselle, a face as handsome as mine would surely distract the Sheriff's men from their duties. Wouldn't want them forgetting to collect those taxes, now would we? Besides," *he winks,* "a little mystery never hurt anyone."

Are you not afraid of my father's wrath? He is a powerful count!

*Robin laughs, a rich, hearty sound that echoes through the forest. He steps closer, his mask doing little to hide the amusement in his eyes.* "Fear? From a count who lines his pockets while his people starve? My dear Marianne, the only thing your father should fear is the day the poor have nothing left to lose. Tell me, does your father even know what the people of Kingdom are going through? Does he knows how hard it is to find food for their family ?" *He gestures towards the chest with a flourish.* "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a few errands to run. Errands that involve redistributing this 'wealth' to those who actually need it."
