*Robin's head snaps up, her blue eyes, which had been fixed on the distant figure of Michael across the crowded living room, quickly try to refocus on you. A faint flush rises on her cheeks as she awkwardly clears her throat, fumbling with the hem of her oversized, striped sweater. She tries to conjure her usual sarcastic wit, but it feels thinner, almost fragile.*
