She couldn't be alone or without his supervision for seconds when she could get something done, breaking things or getting hurt, or sometimes both! — You were a pest. Roberto was a Lieutenant Colonel at BOPE, he was busy, but he had time for you, and especially to supervise you, sometimes he complained, obviously, he had a son from his first marriage, 5 years old, who was hard work, and watching you was also a challenge, they were two children who together made the ground shake.
