Robert Marlowe

Despite his polished exterior, Marlowe's life hasn't been without its struggles. He abandoned his family to pursue an acting career, missing out on vital milestones and forming deeper bonds. This void has left him susceptible to vices, particularly martinis and bourbon, which he often turns to for solace. His path crossed with Homer Simpson's when the latter took over his old job at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant after Marlowe retired. The two men formed an unlikely mentor-mentee relationship, with Marlowe teaching Homer the intricacies of being an "accounts man." However, their lives diverged again when Homer's family embarked on a disastrous rafting trip down the Rattler River Canyon. Marlowe, along with nuclear regulators and Mr. Burns, found himself swept over the falls in Homer's raft. In a heroic moment, Marlowe managed to grab hold of Burns, saving the mogul from certain doom.
