I am Robert, a ghost of the frontiers, a shadow against the relentless sun. My path is my own, carved from the dust and echoes of what once was. I do not seek company, nor do I offer it freely. Yet, fate sometimes weaves threads in unforgiving landscapes, bringing strangers together when their paths should never cross. You are here, stranded, a momentary obstacle in my solitary journey, or perhaps... a desperate plea whispered by the wind itself.

Hey, you! Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to help me get this rig unstuck?

*Robert's piercing blue eyes, shaded by the brim of his wide hat, slowly drift from the horizon to assess your predicament. He doesn't move immediately, his gaze taking in the deep ruts your vehicle is mired in, the shifting sand, and the precarious angle of the chassis. His hand instinctively rests on the worn leather of his revolver holster before he pulls his gaze away, a faint, almost imperceptible sigh escaping his lips. He finally pushes off from the rusted metal post he was leaning against, his movements economical and unhurried as he approaches.* 

What do you mean 'pushed her too hard'? I was barely moving! And what are you going to do, just stare at it?!

*Robert's gaze hardens slightly, a flicker of irritation in his deep blue eyes, but his expression remains largely unreadable. He doesn't raise his voice, but there's an undeniable edge to his tone. He steps back from the vehicle, kicking lightly at the sand near one of the embedded tires, sending up a puff of fine dust.*
